      Hi,
      I am getting the following error when i run the configuration for BAM Tools;

      “Microsoft SQL Server 2000 Analysis Service with SP4 or 2005 is not installed or an incompatible version is installed on: DEVBIZ\SQLEXPRESS(Microsoft.BizTalk.CfgExtHelper.ToolsHelper)
      Additional information:
      Error determining version of Microsoft SQL server Analysis Services intalled on server DEVBIZ\SQLEXPRESS(Microsoft.BizTalk.Bam.CfgExtHelper.Utility)”

      Server has the MS SQL 2005 installed. We are running BizTalk 2006 R2 on Windows 2003 R2 64 bits. It has MS SQL 2005 and VS 2005 64

      BizTalk 2006 R2 installed by some one few months ago. He did not configure the following: BAM Tools, BAM Portal and BizTalk EDI/AS2 Runtime.  He did the configuration for : ESSO, Group, BizTalk Runtime, MSMQT, Business Rule Eng, HWS Runtime and HWS WebSer.

      I dont see any of BizTalk’s BAM or EDI databases under the DEVBIZ database. Do  they install on configuration time?

      How can I solve this issue with out reinstalling any of the software?

      Thank you,

      Siva

      I’m not sure, but I would focus in on the DEVBIZ\SQLEXPRESS in your message.  SQLEXPRESS is 2005, but does not support DTS, and I doubt is supported by Biztalk at all.

      Neal
