Hi,
I am very new in biztalk stuff and looking for two things:
1. is there a possibility to create a flag file everytime any message gets suspended in biztalk, so that external monitoring system could pick this up an create alert – could falg file contain any reason why message got suspended?
2. is there any tool that would once a day create message flow report with as many details as possible and in excell sheet form?
I will highly appraciate your prompt reply.

1.You can have a custom Class library to Query the Biztalk database and set alerts for suspended messages.
2.To create Reports you can use BAM(BUsiness Activity Monitoring tool).

Biztalk fires WMI events when it suspends a message. There are a number of tools that can monitor these events Microsoft MOM being one, but also CA-Unicenter, Tivoli, NetIQ, etc.
These management tools allow you to specify the action to take on any event, they will aggregate events (if you get 10,000 errors you will not send 10,000 emails).
There is even a MOM Management Pack for Biztalk.
