        Hi All!

        1. I want to test the MIME/SMIME encryption, decryption in the Send and Receive pipelines respectively. The problem is how to get the certificate that they will use?, Since I am only testing it myself, so there is no partner who can provide me this. Please tell me how can I generate a Certificate to associate with Receive and Send Pipelines MIME/SMIME component and how can I save that in the store, or redirect me to a sample certificate that I can use for testing.

         2. Is MIME/SMIME encoding good enough for secure messaging at production level, if the client doesn't have his preferences about encryption and decryption?, That'll have the advantage of us not developing any custom pipeline component for it.

          Still waiting for any replies, if people out there dont have any sample certificate they can atleast guide me about my queries….

              I’ve always prompted a Windows 2003 Server to be a Certificate Authority and created my own certificates for testing.  It’s been a while since I’ve done it but I’m sure there is something on the MSFT site to help you out.

               

              Not real sure if that that will work in your case, but I think it would.
