      Hi,

I am in the middle of doing the HTTPRequestResponse example from the biztalk sdk. The 3 errors I am getting in the event viewer are :

BizTalk HTTP receive adapter failed to initialize itself. Possible reasons:

      1) Receive location URL is not created/configured correctly

      2) Receive location is not enabled

      3) HTTP receive adapter is not running under a user that has access to management and message databases

      4) Isolated host instance is not created for HTTP Receive adapter.

      —————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————–

The Messaging Engine failed to register the adapter for "BizTalk HTTP Receiver" for the receive location "/RequestResponse/BTSHTTPReceive.dll". Please verify that the receive location is valid, and that the isolated adapter runs under an account that has access to the BizTalk databases.

      ——————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————

An attempt to connect to "BizTalkMgmtDb" SQL Server database on server "SHARON" failed with error: "Login failed for user 'SHARON\IWAM_SHARON'.".

I am quite sure that the reason for this has to do with setting the application to run under a biztalk isolated user account. I am running all of this on my laptop using windows xp iis v5.1, can someone please explain to me the steps to do this properly as I am sure that this is the reason none of the examples I try are working.

       Thanks,

      Sharon

I found the problem…I changed the user under the identity tab from 'SHARON\IWAM_SHARON' to the user created in the domain.
