      Hi,

I have to integrate my application with Unix Server. I have to make an interface that can talk with Unix Server … Means It can pick files from Unix Server…

Using Microsoft Host Integration Server I can interact with CICS program and I can run program that will produce flat files at Unix Server. But I have to pick files now….

Can I pick flat files from Unix Server and also put flat files back.

      Regards
      Mohit

If you need to connect directly with the other systems you might want to look at Host Integration Server or a custom adapter.

In the past, we have always just read and returned flat files to the mainframes and didn’t need to do anything with them directly.

If that is the case, BizTalk can typically handle the flat files. In the past, I have used FTP to send the files back and forth.

          Hope this helps.
