In my last post I wrote about BAM Portal running in Internet Explorer 11, the browser we normally have in the BizTalk Server machine. However BAM Portal can and should be remotely accessed by the users and not directly from the server. But this can leads us to other problems. Each user has his own […]

Sometimes websites don’t look like you expect them to. Images might not appear, menus might be out of place, and text could be jumbled together. This might be caused by a compatibility problem between Internet Explorer and the site you’re on and most of the times this behavior can be fixed by adding the site […]

A little over a year ago I released a new Pluralsight training course called “Intro to BizTalk Server 2013 Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) Toolkit”.
This course is still getting a lot of views and the overall feedback has been positive. If you are new to working with the BizTalk ESB or you are looking for more information on what it can do, this is a great course for you. The whole course is just under 2 1/2 hours long. If you are short on time, you can watch it at 2x speed!
I setup a simple one page website that outlines this course, has a sample video, and details on how to get your free 7-day trial of Pluralsight to watch the whole course for free.
Check out: http://www.BizTalkESBToolkit.com for all the details.
Enjoy.

We released BizTalk NoS Ultimate about 2 months ago (end of May – Version 1.2) and we are now ready for a new release (Version 1.5). Since our first release, we kept it really quiet, not talking too much about BizTalk NoS in our social channels, blogs etc.,This was a cautious decision made by our […]

Conventional wisdom says that remote work is awesome and we should pity the poor slobs who drag themselves to an office every day. However, I’ve now switched from remote work to office work, and couldn’t be happier about it. I’ve… Read More ›

I have been an author with Pluralsight for the past 3 years. Before I was an author I was always a huge fan and I found that for just $29 a month for unlimited access to all training courses is a deal! They now have over 3,700+ courses to pick from. What is even better you can get a free 7-day, 200 minute trial or for a limited time get your first month for only $9.95. See details below.
One of the best covered subjects in the Pluralsight library is Microsoft BizTalk Server! This is a little surprising because BizTalk is a relatively niche product. Never the less, they currently have 14 courses covering BizTalk. Below is a complete list of the BizTalk courses at Pluralsight.
- BizTalk 2006 Business Process Management
- BizTalk 2006 Fundamentals
- BizTalk Server 2006 R2 Fundamentals
- BizTalk 2009 Fundamentals
- Advanced BizTalk Server 2009
- BizTalk 2009 Business Process Management
- BizTalk 2009 and WCF
- Advanced BizTalk Server 2010
- BizTalk Server by Example
- Integrating BizTalk Server with Windows Azure AppFabric
- What Is New in BizTalk Server 2013 (one of my courses)
- Using Functoids in the BizTalk 2013 Mapper
- Intro to BizTalk Server 2013 Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) Toolkit (one of my courses)
- BizTalk Server 2013 from Ground Up: An End to End Scenario
What I hear a lot is with so many courses and some of them being a little older, what is the best learning path for someone wanting to learn BizTalk? Lets take a look at my recommendations.

I really like the way Azure Logic Apps team is taking a community-driven approach in building new features and maintaining the transparency on what’s happening inside the team. It’s really important given the current market conditions, for any problem you are trying to solve, there is at least a dozen competing products in the market. […]
