Visual Studio 11 RC is here, and actually it’s now called “Visual Studio 2012 RC”. Obligatory link: Download VS11 (VS 2012) Also for interest, here is (pasted from the .Net 4.5 RC release notes ) the section about WF4 that may be useful if you are looking for version upgrade bugs in custom designers or rehosted WF designer applications. (Got a bug to report? Please file by Microsoft Connect, not this blog. ) 1.3.10.1 Some of the new features in the Workflow Designer may cause issues with existing...

As you’ve seen in a previous post, we have added a lot of new features in WF 4.5; see this article for more discussion of those features. A number of those features (e.g. annotations, auto-surround with sequence, etc.) were developed to improve the authoring experience of workflows. Many of our customers rehost our designer in their own application/domain-specific authoring environments. Naturally then, these customers have asked which of these new WF4.5 designer capabilities are supported...

I'll be back to bloging here in a bit. Since you last visited, I've had a fun journey working further on Workflow, Azure and now I've landed in the SQL team working on Hadoop, in particular, the developer story. Not a lot to say right now, but make sure to check out hadoopOnAzure.com ! Blog Post by: Matt Winkler -- MSFT
