         Hi ,

         

        I am trying to connect to an Oracle EBS(E-Business Suite) through bizTalk WCF-OracleEBS adapter.

        I am getting an error. Connecting to the LOB system has failed. The type initializer for ‘Oracle.DataAccess.Client.OracleConnection’ threw an exception..

        The environment of the machine is as follows.

          1. Windows 7 64 bit

          2. BizTalk 2010 Evaluation Edition.

          3. Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 shell.

          4. Oracle Database 11g Enterprise Edition Release 11.2.0.3.0 – 64bit Production

          5. SQL*Plus: Release 10.1.0.4.2 – Production

          6. ODP.NET – 64 bit – 2.111.7.20

        Please help me how to get rid of this error The type initializer for ‘Oracle.DataAccess.Client.OracleConnection’ threw an exception.

          Hi , Installaling Oracle 11G client both (32 bit and 64 bit) and Installing ODP.NET through Universal installer , worked for me.
