I am new to the Biztalk.. to be very frank I am a java person.. but right now I have to work on Biztalk .. I did take seminar on Biztalk .. and now I have to convert some flatfiles to the SQL. I am kind of stuck as to how to achieve this... After transforming the flatfile I have to a validation based on the posiiton in the flat file and on the based of that it has to insert the record in either one of the 2 tables. Now can we achieve this in Biztalk and how.. or I have to do in the Store proc.. Please help.. I know I should post this in forum..

WSDL does not enforce XSD restrictions

Hello Stephen,

I was wondering if you knew of a resaon why BizTalk Web Services Publishing wizard is not enforcing the XSD restrictions of the schema used in the orchestration published. When I see the WSDL none of the XSD restrictions (maxLength, patterns) are taken. Is there a setting that I am missing? I can see the ENUM that I have set but none of the rest restrictions.

Flat File Disassembler Output Options

Stephen, I watched your video on Flat File Disassembler Output Options as I am trying to find a way to eliminate the header record of a flat file. I also downloaded the SampleFlatFileDiss and ran it. I was expecting that when I process StartSampleDocNoHeader.txt file through either the InSingleNoHeader or InAllNoheader folders that the first record in the input file will not be processed. It did not work that way. Both sets of output contained the first record (Header) from the input file. Am I missing something here or does this simply not work? I've spent about 6 hours searching for a way to do this and when I ran across your arcticle and video I thought my prayers had been answered. joseph.m/.mates@bankofamerica.com
