BizTalk Architect - 6 month contract

Contractor will need to be on site in Montgomery, AL at least 2-3 days/week in the beginning and then 1-2 days/week there after with the other days being remote work. 

Cannot sponsor H1B Visa at this time.  Need a Green Card or US Citizen

On this 6 month project, the BizTalk Architect will be responsible for architecting the entire middleware solution from point to point in a manner that meets the functional and non-functional requirements associated with the interfacing needs of a healthcare company. The solution’s design would emphasize scalability, extensibility, availability, throughput, and security as well as robust tracking process for message tracking and reporting.

 RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead the effort to architect and design a framework for interfacing with existing patient care application
• Assist in developing an Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) Strategy for 1,3, and 5 years to align with an enterprise view
• Assist in the effort to develop a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) Strategy and Roadmap for 1, 3 and 5 years
• Consult on Integration Strategy and provide thought leadership as required to deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Exercises effective communications levels and fosters team building
• Document designed architecture and provide knowledge transfer

EXPERIENCE

• 5+ years developing enterprise scale Microsoft BizTalk Server applications is required
• Experience with BizTalk HL7 accelerator.
• Microsoft Certified Technical Specialist (MCTS) for BizTalk Server
• College degree required

QUALIFICATIONS

• Excellent knowledge of Biztalk 2006/2006 R2/2009/2010
• Excellent knowledge of Biztalk administration and configuration
• Excellent knowledge of Orchestration, Message translation, Message bus, Adapters, message transformation, parsing, Business rules and Transaction monitoring (BAM)
• Familiarity with Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) Toolkit 2.0 & 2.1 with Itinerary designer using BRE resolvers
• Strong understanding of security best practices in a SOA environment is also required with ESB implemented solutions with a strong understanding of ESB Itineraries and dynamic mapping invocation through resolvers
• SQL Server experience (T-SQL, stored procedures, views)
• Highly fluent in multiple Web Service standards and technologies including: WCF, XML, SOAP, WSDL, REST,  XSLT, BRE, UDDI
• Proven experience designing, developing, and deployment of BizTalk solutions in multi-server/message box with Network Load Balancing (NLB) and cluster environments with high availability
• Experience with implementing and configuring various out-of-the-box BizTalk adapters, WCF-SQL, MSMQ, FTP, WCF-Custom adapters
• Excellent communication skills
• Able to Mentor people
• Experience configuring trading partners in BizTalk
• Participate in design reviews and development of Design Standards and Best Practices
