  • X12 997 Acknowledgement

    I am using BizTalk 2006 (NOT RC2), how can I send a 997 Acknowledgement after receiving an EDI file? In the receive location settings there is an option for "Functional Acknowledgement" with options ALWAYS/NEVER. Does this create a 997 message in the message box? How do I setup a send port...

    Hey Siva, The parties are like the send/receive "locations" you have to have a party for the sender of the EDI file and you also have to have a party for the receiver (this would be you) of the EDI file. In case you don't know the format of an EDI address...I had a tough time finding it...

  • EDI Schema to SQL Schema in BizTalk ?

    Hi, I want to store EDI document into database. The EDI file created by GENTRAN server, NOT bye BizTalk. Is it possible to create a map with EDI Schema to SQL Schema? I think there is another way to do is. EDI -> Flat File -> SQL . In this case I have to have 2 maps. My manager doesnt like that...
