Working with SQL 2005 XML Data Types in BizTalk Server
Filed under:

This sample uses a simple stored procedure to extract out data as XML from SQL Server 2005. Using this approach, you can receive many different messages through one Biztalk Receive Location.

This sample will work with BizTalk 2006 and BizTalk 2006 R2.

An error occure when deploying the sample "Error 1 An error has occurred while establishing a connection to the server. When connecting to SQL Server 2005, this failure may be caused by the fact that under the default settings SQL Server does not allow remote connections. (provider: Named Pipes Provider, error: 40 - Could not open a connection to SQL Server) "

Right Click the 'SampleSQLXMLData' solution and go to 'Properties'. Then under the 'Configuration Properties' click on 'Deployment'. Change the server name to where the BizTalkMgmtDb is stored. Cheers!
