Windows Azure Service Bus Topics and Queues
Posted
by
Syndicated BizTalk Author
A topic that I think BizTalk professional find appealing in Windows Azure is the Service Bus (part of Windows Azure AppFabric). Service Bus provides secure messaging and connectivity capabilities that enable building distributed and disconnected applications in the cloud, as well hybrid application across both on-premises and the cloud. One of new features is topics and queues . Clemens Vasters did a talk on Windows Azure Service Bus Topics and Queues during Windows Build and an advanced one , which...

ESB Toolkit 2.1 mess up Enterprise Library 5.0 big time
Posted
by
Syndicated BizTalk Author
I spend nearly 5 hours so far today trying to configure Enterprise Library 5.0 for one of our projects. The machine I'm working on got ESB 2.1 installed previously. ESB Toolkit 2.1 utilises Enterprise Library 4.1. Among the various application blocks, it takes advantage of ConfigurationSource to point to ESB specific configuration information (esb.config and SSOConfigurationSource) from machine.config file. When you open the machine.config file after ESB Toolkit 2.1 installation you will see...

In this post I want to provide a short description of each option and some best practices for use. · Specify Now/Specify Later These two are commonly referred to as Static bound ports. Both of these options will require that the orchestration port is associated with a physical port before the orchestration can be enlisted or started. The difference between the two lay in...

A recent project my team has worked hard on has come to fruition . This was a challenging project in these key areas: High volume – benchmarks of 20000 concurrent requests/sec through the system. Low latency – time is critical as price and market changes going through. Scalable – different data centers, different regions in the world. Seemed like a great challenge…. and we built some great componentry through it, utilising the best of many worlds. Centrebet have released a press release about their...
