Both of the application supports web service (SOAP). I would like to break it into two parts:

Part 1: Receiving message from Web service (External Hosted) to Biztalk

Part 2: Sending message from Biztalk to internal application.

For this discussion i will be focusing on Part 1 only. So to send the message from external app to Biztalk, i have the WSDL info, i have deployed the Biztalk server and Visual studio.

1) What are my next steps after starting a new biztalk project in VS. If it can be highlighted stpe by step , would be appreciated. Once i have the steps, i will start my lab.

2) Although not for part 1 : but both platform supports xml , so do i still need orchestration?

Thanks

Forum Post: Issure related to BizTalk ESB Toolkit 2.0

Hi,

There is a suspended msg in group hub -

The error msg is -

There was a failure executing the send pipeline: "Microsoft.Practices.ESB.ExceptionHandling.Pipelines.ESBFaultProcessor, Microsoft.Practices.ESB.ExceptionHandling.Pipelines, Version=2.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=31bf3856ad364e35" Source: "ESB Exception Encoder" Send Port: "ALL.Exceptions" URI: "SQL://<DB Server Name>/EsbExceptionDb/" Reason: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

The information gathered from the event log is -

Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

Source: Microsoft.Practices.ESB.ExceptionHandling.PipelineComponents.ProcessFault

Method: Microsoft.BizTalk.Message.Interop.IBaseMessage Execute(Microsoft.BizTalk.Component.Interop.IPipelineContext, Microsoft.BizTalk.Message.Interop.IBaseMessage)

Error Source: Microsoft.Practices.ESB.ExceptionHandling.PipelineComponents

Error TargetSite: Void WriteHeaderFailedMessageRouting(System.Xml.XmlTextWriter, Microsoft.BizTalk.Message.Interop.IBaseMessage, System.Object ByRef)

Error StackTrace: at Microsoft.Practices.ESB.ExceptionHandling.PipelineComponents.ProcessFault.WriteHeaderFailedMessageRouting(XmlTextWriter writer, IBaseMessage pInMsg, Object& portName)

at Microsoft.Practices.ESB.ExceptionHandling.PipelineComponents.ProcessFault.WriteHeader(XmlTextWriter writer, XmlTextReader reader, FaultSource faultSource, IBaseMessage pInMsg, Object& portName)

at Microsoft.Practices.ESB.ExceptionHandling.PipelineComponents.ProcessFault.Execute(IPipelineContext pContext, IBaseMessage pInMsg)

Does anybody know what could be the possible issue.

Thanks,

Mohit
