One flat file from multiple ( unknown number of ) XML files

Hi All ,

I need to create one big flat file from multiple xml's.

All the xml's will be of same type .

Also The number of XML files is unknown as in It can be 5 or 10 or n .

How can i achieve this ?

Hi,

recently working with Biztalk 2009 SWIFT and encounter some problem

Previously I am working fine with my testing of SWIFT Message MT320 (testing on Biztalk without connect to SWIFT Alliance server), with the header below:

But the problem come in after I do another round of testing with SWIFT Alliance server, because the header had extra line (which is the acknowledgement message), and my Send Port are not reading the header below:

i am trying to find a solution to write custom pipeline or any other methods to resolve the issue. I have done basic level biztalk but have not written any custom pipeline. Can anyone please help me resolve the issue. i have a deadline by tuesday this week.

Biz-talk Orchestration Testing Which is Receiving Request form Web service

Hi All,

I have two web service and web service are consumed by Biz-Talk Orchestration.

First web service accept currency code and sending to second web service as request of 2ndweb service, it returns country currency name.

For first web service inputs i have created UI using First web service client.

but I'm not able to getting the correct result, i mean it is returning country code as it is. i thing web request message not hitting the orchestration request-response receiving location.

i don't how to test the Orchestration with the web request using two way receiving port.

if i create receive location using file adapter, orchestration working well. But request from web service is not working.

Please any help on the same issue. i need to solve very urgent.

Hi All,

I developed a Biztalk Application aims to upload a flat file data to our system MS SQL Server database. It works fine until one day, an exception is generated as below.

"Error encountered while executing the transform project name.map name. Error:Unable to create the transform. Microsoft.XLANGs.Engine"

It continues to generate an exception until I restart the Biztalk instance. And it happens occasionally, no pattern, cannot be traced and debugged.

Anybody has an idea about this error? Please help, thank you very much.

The Biztalk Server is running on Hyper-V Virtual machine, Biztalk Server 2009 on Windows Server 2008.

The Biztalk Application consists of Mapping Functoid, Orchestration, Flatfile Schema, Flatfile Disassembler Pipeline, SQL Send Port, File Receive Port and Send Port

Hi All,

I have deployed my 32 bit application on 64 Bit Windows Server 2008 R2 server.

I have BizTalk 2009 installed on that server along with BizTalk HL7 accelarator. I am getting following error when I trigger BizTalk application through SOAPUI.

Biztalk integration with web service

HI Everyone,

I have the following scenario where we have a web service (External hosted) and we would like to integrate it with an internal application with Biztalk in the middle. Both of the application supports web service (SOAP). I would like to break it into two parts:

Part 1: Receiving message from Web service (External Hosted) to Biztalk

Part 2: Sending message from Biztalk to internal application.

For this discussion i will be focusing on Part 1 only. So to send the message from external app to Biztalk, i have the WSDL info, i have deployed the Biztalk server and Visual studio.

1) What are my next steps after starting a new biztalk project in VS. If it can be highlighted stpe by step , would be appreciated. Once i have the steps, i will start my lab.

2) Although not for part 1 : but both platform supports xml , so do i still need orchestration?

Want to use text from XSL stylesheet as map output

I have a very complex input message whose node names and values I need to regurgitate (without any namespace info) to the output as though viewing the document in a browser using an XSL stylesheet. I do not need to map any of the individual source XML elements to corresponding target elements. The output will be passed to a flat-file assembler and sent as a simple old-fashioned text message by the receiver.

For simplicity I removed most of the namespaces and changed prefixes in this stylesheet which produces exactly the output I desire:

In BizTalk I have referenced this stylesheet on my map grid's "Custom XSL Path" property, and when I test the map I get the right output.

But how can I map this output to a target schema? The output of the stylesheet is just a very long stream of text with many x0D x0A (cr / lf) sprinkled in. I have not been able to devise a schema that BizTalk will permit to be a receptacle for the stylesheet output.

Role link Vs Direct Binding

Hi,

I have been working on Biztalk from last 1yr. Recently I read about Role links. After I came to know about that, I am totally confused to decide which one suits best to fulfill my requirement.

My Requirement : It is very simple. I am getting an order as a input message, I need to send it to few trading partners after applying a business logic. The input message it self has some info in one field to decide to which trading partner it needs to sent.

Ex : If it trading partner 'A' ---- I need to send it to one destination folder using file adapter
If it trading partner 'B' ---- I need to send it to one destination using ftp adapter
If it trading partner 'c' ---- I need to send it to one destination using some other adapter.

As per my understnading I can do it in three ways.

Dynamic Binding : I will create a dynamic port, and I will store all the data (transport protocal, destination details) for all trading partners in a config file. I will get the data from config file as per the input data and assign it one field in the destination message, and will do the following

MySendPort(Microsoft.XLANGs.BaseTypes.Address) = outputmsg.destination.

Direct Binding : I will publish the message to message box and create a send ports in the admin console with the filters.

I think direct binding is preferrable one to dynamic, because in case if u have to add new trading partners in future you need to update the orchestration and need to deploy the whole proj.

Role Links :
Using Role links also I can implement the same.

But I want to know which one is best in these three. I read few web pages which mentioned role links are preferrable to Direct and Dynamic bindings. I am really confused how role links are better than direct.

Can anyone please tell me, which one suits best in my requirement and why??

Hi,

I am using nsoftware FTPS adapter over SSL implicit encryption to send message from BizTalk 2009 to FTP location.
I have all the details like server name, Port, Username and password.
Using above details message has been sent successfully using CoreFTP or FileZilla. But when I posted message using nsoftware FTPS adapter I got below error with message got dehydrated in BizTalk and at the same time FTP location received a zero byte file.

i am trying to stop a biztalk application in a remote server from my local machine with powershell code.

my local machine and remote machine are in different domains.

forexample: my local machine fully qualified name is local.dev.company.com

and remote server fully qualified name is remote.test.company.com

remote server is accessible(pinging) from local machine only with remote server's fully qualified name. So i have given fully qualified name in connection string.

Part of my code is as follows

its just taking servername as "remote", its not taking the fully qualified name as "remote.test.company.com"

since the server is not reachable without fullname its not working.

i cannot make any changes to DNS or network settings.

could you help me out please. any ideas?

IsSignatureRequired value causes message to fail

I am using BTARN with Biztalk Server 2009 and I am trying to receive a trading partners acknowledgement to my

signed 3C3 message. My send works fine and they send the acknowledgement with a good server response from my end... but their acknowledgement will not process in my orchestration. I get the following error :

Recive Pipeline: filter 4 Orchestration

it's possible to make or set a filter to ensure that just one type of messages or just the messages with certain properties, that i need, to processed in the orchestration?
Something like a filter by the send pipeline? I need to ensure, that the orchestration don't get all messages and then check if the message is this one to process, else do nothing!

X509 certificate error for BizTalk

Hi,

I want to send a requet to HTTPS adapter through BizTalk server 2009. My BizTalk adapter is dynamic and it's takes configuration details from database instaed of directly mentioning it on server.

I have installed X509 certificate in my browser and imported it in MMC.

I am getting following error in my BizTalk

A message sent to adapter "HTTP" on send port "sndHL7" with URI "https://xxxxxxxxx/imm/test (https://xxxxxxxxxxxxx/imm/test)" is suspended.
Error details: The underlying connection was closed: Could not establish trust relationship for the SSL/TLS secure channel

It will be very greatful if I get any pointer for it.

I am getting different error while sending/receiving message to BizTalk. Can anyone help me out to resolve this issue?

We are sending XML message through SoapUI to BizTalk. BizTalk disassemble this message in the receive port with custom pipeline component. In this pipeline component we are calling BizTalk rules with the help of Inrule.runtime dll.

When I send BizTalk message through SoapUI, I am getting following error in soap UI as response:

"Open Connection failed: [DBNETLIB][ConnectionOpen (Connect()).]SQL Server does not exist or access denied. (Error Code = SqlError)
Error processing (ApplyRulesDirective)(Error Code = InternalError) ->InRule.Runtime"

Is this error related to SQL connection for DBNETLIB? if yes how can I check the connection for this DB?

or is this error related to Inrule.Runtime dll? if 'Yes' what to do to fix it?

I am sending from one BizTalk 2009 instance to another via HTTP a message (using IIS 6.0). Both instances are located on different servers in different subnetworks. On the source BizTalk there is a simple orchestration, which transforms the input File xml and sends it via HTTP. On the destination BizTalk there is only one configured HTTP receive port. Port 80 on the server is configured in Firewall. Source BizTalk is german, destination BizTalk is english.

The following error occurs: "The server commited a protocol violation. Section=ResponseStatusLine".

At the destination BitTalk there are no errors in the machine log, only in the IIS log there is an error 400.

What should I check out / configure to solve the issue?

The problem is, that BizTalk destination instance is configured on example of another one which functions.

BizTalk source can succesfully send the same test message to this functioning original BizTalk instance.

"<" as ISA11 (repitation seperator)

Hi, I got an outbound EDI batching issue(working on BT server 2009). My client needs ISA11 as"<" symbol, it works perfect when i used it without batching. But BT throws the following error when i used with batching.

Description:
A message sent to adapter "FILE" on send port "XXX" with URI "XXX" is suspended.
Error details: There was a failure executing the send pipeline: "XXX" Source: "EDI assembler" Send Port: "XXX.EDIBatching" URI: "XXX" Reason: Name cannot begin with the '<' character, hexadecimal value 0x3C. Line 1, position 346.

I tried to encode in a different way, like as "<" as said in this link: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb246093.aspx

but i cannot really type"<" as it accepts only one charachter i.e., "&"

I really appreciate if you could help me out in this.
