Is it possible? Are there any confilcts ? Thank you!!
Hi,
Yes, you can use SQL Server 2000 standard edition with your BizTalk 2004 installation. However, if you are designing for a highly-scalable solution, then you might want to consider the Enterprise version. You can consult a Microsoft document for more guidelines that you can download from the following link:

Hope this helps,
Daniel.

Thank you sooo much Daniel! :)
Sir Daniel I would like to ask ..in what context does "high scalability" would apply to?Could you provide a quick example that could help me grasp this concept? Sorry for the trouble thank you!
A highly scalable BizTalk solution can account for situations where you are processing increasingly large amounts of messages and/or consuming messages with increasingly large sizes.
I''ve read the reference document.. and I've noticed that the obvious difference between standard and ent. SQL 2000 is the support for clustering. And that makes sense if we are looking at the perspective of maintaining a high scalable Biztalk solution with maximum uptime. Thank you again and Godspeed!
This is helpful infomation.
